How can I book an appointment?
Call the chamber you want to visit to get a serial, or fill in the online appointment form on this website. After you send an online request, the chamber will call you to confirm the date and time.
Where does the doctor see patients?
Dr. Sohel-Uzzaman sees patients at Khidmah Hospital & Diagnostics Ltd. in Khilgaon, Labaid Specialized Hospital in Dhanmondi, and Asmat Ali Khan Central Hospital Ltd. in Madaripur. He also offers online consultation. The Chamber page lists addresses and visiting hours.
What are the visiting hours?
Visiting days and hours are different at each chamber. The Chamber page shows the current schedule for every location. Please call the chamber to confirm before you visit.
Which conditions does the doctor treat?
He treats hernia (including paraumbilical hernia), gallbladder stones, appendicitis, piles, anal fissure and other general surgical problems, and performs laparoscopic surgery and GI endoscopy. He also treats knee osteoarthritis pain. The Services page has details on each.
Can I consult the doctor online?
Yes. Online consultation is available on Saturday, Monday and Wednesday at 9:30 PM. Choose Online Consultation in the appointment form, or call +880 1758-403494.
What should I bring to my first consultation?
Bring your previous prescriptions, test reports, ultrasound or X-ray reports, any hospital discharge papers, and a list of the medicines you take regularly.
Can every patient have laparoscopic surgery?
Not always. Many hernia, gallbladder and appendix operations can be done laparoscopically, but the right approach depends on your condition, any previous surgery and your general health. The surgeon will discuss the options with you.
Does submitting the online form confirm my appointment?
No. The form sends a request. The chamber will call you to confirm the date and time, so please keep your reference number.
